I’m an extreme weather and night skies photographer who lives right here in Central Iowa. I’ve been a weather enthusiast my entire life. With a strong interest in weather, I started chasing storms in the mid 1990’s and over the years my storm chasing passion has grown, which in turn has spawned my interest for photography. In 2015 I began experimenting with astrophotography (pictures of the night sky). Once I got into working on star trails, finding and photographing the Milky Way, and photographing auroras, I was hooked. Over the past several years I’ve traveled many miles across this great nation in pursuit of photogenic skies both during the day and at night.
