The Des Moines Camera club 'rocked' at the Iowa State Fair!

Sharla Glick and Terry Kruse took two of the most prestigious awards. While four of eight people to get all four images into the competition were DMCC members.

There are 21 adult categories, and we had awards in 15 of them. We had one Superintendent Choice, one Best Black and White, four 1st place winners, one 2nd place, three 3rd place, and five HM. 

Mike Landwehr received awards for 3 of the 4 pics that he entered which is amazing. He took a 1st, 2nd, and an HM. To steal a term used in baseball, he nearly hit for a “cycle”.

Very interesting and here are a couple of the sites that he gave us to check out in regards to digiscope shooting. The blogs will show you some beautiful images that were captured using this method.
