PROGRAM SCHEDULE
Our camera club meets on the first and
third Tuesdays from September through May.
The December meeting is a holiday banquet, which includes the “Best of
the Best” exhibit of all the winners of the monthly club competitions.The first meeting of the month is usually a guest speaker and
the second meeting is devoted to photo competitions from club members.Check the schedule page for details.
Club meetings are held at the Waconda Christian
Church, 3938 Fleur Drive in Des Moines. (south
door downstairs)

PHOTO COMPETITION
Our
club encourages all members to participate and continue learning about
photography. One of the best learning tools is the monthly in-house photo
competition. A panel of three judges critique and rate prints, slides and digital
images submitted by club members.
The
two categories are novice (new) and regular (experienced photographers). Novice members advance to the regular category by earning points in club
contests. Print contests include color and black
& white contests. Both
traditional and digital slide contests are held.

are awarded as follows.

club dues year runs from September through May. Annual dues (due Sept 1)
are as follows:
$35 individuals
$40 families
$50 business
$10 student
